Santa’s Ready for His Close-Up—Are Your Little Ones?

Christmas photos with Santa are coming up—including at Baby’s Corner on December 12 and 13! Besides figuring out how to keep your little one from crying on Santa’s lap, the big question is: What should they wear?

After more than 10 years of welcoming Santa to our store, I’ve picked up a few ideas that make for the sweetest pictures.

Matching siblings has always been a favorite of mine. It’s one of the reasons I love stocking coordinating sibling outfits—and carrying larger sizes for the holidays! Think a plaid shirt for an older brother, a matching dress for little sister, and a bubble for the baby.

Red is always a beautiful Christmas choice, but white and green can really stand out against Santa’s red suit. And if matching outfits aren’t an option, coordinating colors look lovely, too!

Christmas pajamas are another favorite. We’ve even had parents bring a book for Santa to pretend to read to their children—like a cozy bedtime story with Santa. Such a sweet idea!

Whatever you choose, the outfits are only part of the picture. The smiles, the tears, and those little personalities are what you’ll treasure—and the memories will last forever.
